If you're looking for an adventure spot without a language barrier, great food, spectacular historic sights, phenomenal shopping, and a lively scenery, London is an excellent spot for you. Out of all of the places I have traveled throughout my life, this has been one of my very favorites.
Here you will find the friendliest locals, and be encountered with infinite places to visit. Taking a ride on the London Eye, walking through St. James Park, photographing the Tower Bridge and Big Ben, as well as visiting Buckingham Palace are a must for traveling to London. Also, any Harry Potter fans should of course stop by Kings Cross Railway Station to take pictures with the luggage trolley in the wall at Platform 9 3/4. If you enjoy learning about history, one place I would recommend for you is the Churchill War Rooms. This is a museum where you can walk through the underground corridors where Winston Churchill and his close associates were housed in during World War Two.
One thing I really enjoyed while in England was taking the double deckered buses throughout the capital. This is a convenient and cheap way to travel from place to place, and you get to enjoy seeing all of the famous sights along the way. Another easy way to travel through the city is through the Underground, which is their metro system. We found this to be extremely beneficial during our stay, and was a very fast way to get wherever we needed to go.
Overall, London has several sights to see and things to do for every kind of traveler. I cannot wait to go back here one day, and I am really hoping to be able to live or study abroad in London sometime in my future!
